We are a manufacturing and production company based in Whitehorse with openings for on call, casual labor positions. These on-call positions are essential to assist our operations through busy portions of our Winter/Spring seasonal production periods. Flexible hours and work days are offered; perfect for someone working around a school schedule, seeking alternate employment, or looking for additional income following the holiday season. While there is no set work schedule guaranteed, these positions are designed to be recurring as production flow dictates and work days and hours can be arranged to fit the successful candidates' schedules and the needs of the business.
Computer knowledge and mechanical aptitude are all essential skills to have but can be developed through our onsite training if you are the right fit for our team.

A successful applicant will:
- Work to assemble products using various hand and power tools.
- Complete regular maintenance checks on the facility
- Have the ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Assist with the cleaning of facility(daily, weekly and monthly)
- Be punctual and reliable, as these are a must
- Possess the physical ability to lift and move items of up to 50lbs between and around workstations
- Be capable of doing repetitive and dexterous work
- Adhere to safe work practices, follow safety procedures, and wear required PPE
Experience/Skills:
- At least one year of experience working as a warehouse person or similar position
- Experience with using hand and power tools (hammer, saws, drills, etc.)
- Preferred, but not necessary, at least one year of Plastics products manufacturing experience (handling of templates, cast, and assemble of products made of raw plastics materials).
- Experience working in noisy and dusty environments
- Strong work ethic and commitment to quality in all aspects of the job
- Strong background in Trades is a definite asset.
