Epic North provides small group day, and multi day tours around the Whitehorse area, and the Yukon. This summer, Epic North is starting a new hop on/hop off tourist shuttle around the Whitehorse area.
We are looking for 3 or 4 full time and part time tour guides to join our team this summer. You will be leading small groups on day trips to Skagway, Carcross and Haines Junction/Kluane.
You will also be part of the team driving our 24 seat shuttle bus on a around town, as well as out the the hot springs, and Miles Canyon. It will run 7 days a week, from 9:30am to 7pm.
For full time positions there will be a guaranteed 35hrs a week of work.
Although this position is seasonal, you will have the option to stay on for the winter when we change into our aurora viewing season. We have tours running continuously from June 1st - March 31st, with a 2 month break/shoulder season for travelling during April + May.

Duties
- Be prompt and on time for your shift
- Do pre trip vehicle inspections at the beginning of the day.
- Fuel up the bus and clean it out at the end of the day
- Be friendly and welcoming to passengers
- Provide exceptional customer service
- Learn and tell stories about the Yukon as you drive
Job Requirements
- Must have a clean Class 4 drivers license
- Experience driving large passenger vehicles
- Minimum CPR-C first aid certification
- Must be a reliable worker
- Fluent in English
- Experience guiding, or in a front line customer service role
Beneficial
- Have lived in the Yukon for over a year (can talk about life in the Yukon)
- Have experience in tour guiding/tourism
- Know about the Yukon and it's history, flora & fauna
