Walker Home Construction is seeking a Site Superintendent / Crew Lead to support our growing portfolio of residential, multi-family, and community housing projects across the Yukon. This full-time role is based in Whitehorse with regular travel to project sites throughout Yukon communities.

What You’ll Do:
- Lead and supervise construction crews to ensure projects are completed safely, on schedule, within budget, and to the highest quality standards
- Coordinate and direct subcontractors toward project goals and maintain progress reporting in Buildertrend
- Work closely with Project Managers to plan and execute project schedules and daily site activities
- Ensure all work is performed safely and in compliance with company policies and Yukon OHS regulations
- Lead safety meetings and promote a strong safety culture on site
- Coordinate inspections, material take-offs, and building material inventory
- Monitor project progress and collaborate with management to adjust plans as needed
- Train, mentor, and support crew members to maintain a high-performing team
- Perform quality control inspections to ensure work meets specifications and standards
- Maintain clear site documentation including daily reports, deficiencies, and site instructions
- Travel to project sites across Yukon communities as required.
What You Bring:
- Journeyman Carpenter Certificate (required)
- 5+ years of experience in the construction industry with experience as a crew lead, foreman, or superintendent
- Strong leadership and communication skills with the ability to motivate and manage crews effectively
- Extensive knowledge of construction techniques, tools, equipment, and safety practices
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
- Proficiency with Microsoft 365 and construction documentation systems
- Experience with Buildertrend is considered an asset
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
- Valid Class 5 driver’s license and willingness to travel within Yukon
