Our flagship asset is the 100%-owned Coffee Gold Project in the Yukon, a well-advanced gold project transitioning from exploration toward development, permitting, and engineering. As Fuerte advances the Coffee Gold Project, we are seeking an experienced Senior (Sr) Exploration Geologist
to provide field-based technical leadership and support continued resource growth. This role is site-based and rotational, reporting to the Exploration Manager. The position plays a key role in supervising drilling programs, ensuring data quality, and supporting geological interpretation that informs future project decisions.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise day-to-day drilling and exploration activities at the site
- Log drill core and chip samples to Company standards, including lithology, alteration, mineralization, and structure
- Ensure accurate sampling, QA/QC, and geological data management
- Coordinate daily with drilling contractors and field service providers
- Monitor drilling performance, safety metrics, and program progress
- Interpret drill results and contribute to geological models and exploration targeting
- Prepare technical summaries, reports, and updates on exploration results
- Support exploration planning, budgeting, and future program design
- Mentor and provide technical guidance to junior geologists and field staff
- Execute all work in compliance with Company's health, safety, and environmental standards
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Geology or Earth Sciences
- 5–10 years of mineral exploration experience, primarily in Canada
- Eligibility for, or registration as, a Professional Geoscientist (P.Geo.)
- Experience supervising drill programs and exploration teams
- Experience working in northern or remote environments preferred
- Familiarity with structurally controlled gold deposits is considered an asset
- Willingness to work rotational schedules at the site

Work Location
This role is based at the Coffee Gold Project site in the Yukon, with rotational travel as required.
