Position Summary:The GEM Project Manager is responsible for overseeing and executing company projects, ensuring they meet goals, timelines, and budgets. The role involves coordinating tasks, managing resources, and collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to achieve project success. The manager will report to the administrative support staff for management and board communications.
Key Responsibilities:
- Project Planning & Coordination: Define project goals, timelines, and resource requirements. Collaborate across teams to align objectives and set schedules.
- Execution & Monitoring: Oversee daily operations, ensuring efficient resource use and project progression. Track project status, and report to management regularly.
- Team Collaboration: Lead project teams and act as the main point of contact. Facilitate regular team meetings and ensure communication flows smoothly.
- Budget & Resource Management: Monitor and adjust project budgets, ensuring efficient resource allocation.
- Documentation & Reporting: Maintain project documentation and ensure timely progress reporting.
- Quality Control & Compliance: Ensure deliverables meet quality standards and comply with safety regulations.
- Risk Management & Problem-Solving: Identify risks and implement solutions to maintain project timelines and budgets.
- Post-Project Evaluation: Evaluate project outcomes, documenting lessons learned and areas for improvement.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Project Management, or related field
- 3-5 years’ experience in project management, preferably in construction or operations
- Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills
- PMP certification is a plus
- Experience with project management software (e.g., MS Project)
- Commercial License with Airbrakes and clean driver abstract
- Ability to work in a leadership role, ensuring safe work practices and meeting deadlines
Working Conditions:
- Seasonal construction sites, with potential for evening and weekend work
- Flexible hours, as needed to meet project deadlines
- Valid commercial license, criminal record check, and reliable transportation required
