Position:
Permanent full time. Seeking a dedicated parts person to join our team. The ideal candidate has a broad understanding of heavy duty (on and off road), automotive, and stationary equipment parts, and the willingness to expand on that knowledge base. The candidate must be self-motivated and able to work both independently and within a team. Tasks include:
- Customer service for outside parts sales
- Parts for internal work orders for our service department
- Sourcing and ordering parts for a large variety of vehicles and equipment
- Working closely with the shipping/receiving department for order logistics and inventory control
- RSE in Parts would be considered an asset
- Parts sales experience without RSE also considered
- Interest in Heavy Equipment/ Trucks
- Understanding of the industry, particularly of Canada’s North
- Would be expected to work on site approx 15min, north of Whitehorse
- Customer service experience
- Computer literacy including email, google docs, excel
- Valid Class 5 Drivers’ License required
- Clean drivers abstract
The position is 8 hours a day, Monday to Friday. Wage range of $35-45 per hour based on experience. Potential for overtime.

YuQuip Industrial Solutions is a locally owned and operated company based in Whitehorse, Yukon. We provide heavy duty on and off-road repair services and aftermarket parts sales and industrial supplies. YuQuip has established an extensive supplier base for nearly every application. Our service department is primarily mobile based, providing mechanical repair across the Yukon, Northwest Territories, and British Columbia either by fly-in or drive-in with our service trucks. Our two-bay local shop is also an authorized PMVI facility. Our goals are to provide excellent customer service with honesty, accuracy, and integrity.
Qualifications:
- RSE in Parts would be considered an asset
- Parts sales experience without RSE also considered
