Class 1/Class 3 Truck Driver

Position Summary:
Castle Rock Enterprises is seeking experienced Class 1 and Class 3 Truck Drivers to join our civil construction team. You’ll be responsible for safely operating a variety of trucks to support water, sewer, and utility projects, while following all company safety standards and operational procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
Class 1 Truck Driver Responsibilities

  • Safely operate heavy-duty trucks including End Dump, Truck and Pup, Belly Dump, Low Bed (6–9 Axle), Slide Axle Trailer, Step Deck, and Long Haul vehicles
  • Conduct thorough pre- and post-trip inspections
  • Monitor equipment performance and report mechanical concerns or damage
  • Transport and deliver gravel and other materials to job sites, including cross-border (U.S.) trips
  • Maintain accurate records using an Electronic Logging Device (ELD)

Class 3 Truck Driver Responsibilities

  • Safely operate company trucks including Dump, Hydrovac, Water, and Sand Trucks
  • Conduct pre- and post-trip inspections
  • Monitor equipment condition and report mechanical issues or damage
  • Deliver gravel and other materials to job sites
  • Operate an Electronic Logging Device (ELD) to maintain accurate driving records

Qualifications

  • Minimum 2 years of professional truck driving experience
  • Expertise driving at least one of the trucks listed for your class (more than one is a plus)
  • Driver’s License held for at least 3 years
  • Clean Driver’s Abstract
  • Heavy hauling and self-loading experience considered strong assets
  • Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team
  • Valid First Aid certificate is an asset
  • For Class 1: able to travel to the United States
