PROGRAM COORDINATOR

Responsibility and Authority
- Assist in offering quality Sport Programs and Initiatives to the Special Olympics Yukon (S.O.Y.) athlete membership
- Manage the tasks and responsibilities delegated by the S.O.Y. Program Director
Job Duties and Accountabilities
The Employee’s duties shall include, but not necessarily be limited to:
- Assist with the management of S.O.Y. sport volunteers.
- Assist in the development, as well as the efficient and effective functioning of all S.O.Y. program streams (sport and youth programs)
- Plan and implement rural Yukon program development and initiatives.
- Assist in providing all programs with access to pertinent materials, community and governmental resources.
- Maintain the athlete and volunteer registration system/database.
- Assist with administrative tasks related to Special Olympics Team Yukon
- Assist with the implementation of sport and program related special events
- Assist with the sport/program growth components and expectations of the Special Olympics Yukon Strategic Plan
- Assist in the implementation of all S.O.Y. policies related to Sport Programs and Initiatives
- Performing related duties as delegated by the CEO and Program Director.
The Employee’s duties may be amended from time to time as required to suit Special Olympics Yukon.
Salary - $50,000 - $55,000 per year
