I. Position Title
Warehouse Person - NOC Code 75101
Incumbent-
II. Position Summary

  • Responsible for the tire inventory

III. Duties and Responsibilities

  • When the inventory arrives on the property counting the pieces and making sure that the number of pieces matches with the waybill of the freight company delivering. Being sure to mark any discrepancies on the waybill.
  • Using the packing slips, making sure that each item shipped matches with each item received and marking any discrepancies on the packing slips and notifying the appropriate person(s).
  • After receiving inventory then putting it where it belongs while at all times keeping any storage area neat and tidy.
  • Maintain working area, shop and outside pads in a clean, uncluttered condition on a daily basis.
  • Separate the regular inventory from the special orders.
  • Deliver any special orders to the Clients who ordered them and at the same time get the appropriate paperwork signed and delivered to the right place.
  • Bring requested inventory from the storage areas for the sales staff.
  • Deliver any Clients to destinations, within city limits, as required by management.
  • Pick up various inventories, shop supplies, tools or any other items as required.
  • On a regular basis but no less than 3 times per year, count and inspect the inventory for any discrepancies and adjusting the inventory as necessary.
  • Answer telephones in a courteous and helpful manner when necessary according to the Integra Tire customer service standards.
  • Uphold the Integra Tire image in all dealings with Customers and while driving company vehicles, per training manual standards.
  • Wear appropriate Corporate approved clothing.
  • Undertake training as per the Customer Service modules and product knowledge courses put on from time to time; in order to be knowledgeable enough to recommend the proper tire for the right application.
  • Be able to operate the computer storefront procedures as taught by the store assistant manager or manager.
  • Perform his/her duties in a safety conscious manner that protects all employees and customers from injury and/or damage to property, both company and 3'd party.
  • Provide assistance to co-workers on an ongoing basis as and when required.
  • Other duties as assigned

IV. Reporting Structure

  • Reports to the Warehouse Supervisor

V. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • 1 year to less than 2 years of warehouse experience
  • Ability to work with colleagues in a co-operative manner
  • Ability to deal with the public
  • Must be physically capable of performing the duties and responsibilities as Described
  • Must have and keep a valid Yukon Driver’s Class 5 License
  • Manual Transmission experience an asset
  • Forklift Certificate required
  • Fall Arrest required
  • Data Entry is a very important aspect of this position therefore strong computer skills are required.
