Autism Yukon is looking for a Community Navigator to join our team.  Roles include, but are not limited to: 
- Offering navigation support to individuals and families who connect with Autism Yukon.
 - Coordinating, planning, organizing and delivering programs, groups and events in conjunction with other Autism Yukon Staff and/or contractors.

 - Conducting sensory room orientations and supporting sensory room visits, including room cleaning.
 - Preparing and providing presentations, trainings and webinars to the community and other organizations.
 - Participating in professional development and training required to complete duties.
 - Providing information and guidance to the general public, organizations, programs and services trying to be more neurodivergent friendly.
 - Co-cordinating and supporting Autism Yukon community events (usually outside of regular work hours).
 - Participating in groups and committees outside of Autism Yukon when requested.
 - Assisting with grant applications and research, when needed.
 - Completing general agency tasks and responsibilities.
 - Completing general office duties.
 - Other duties as required.
 
Qualifications:  Education in field of neurodiversity and/or disability is required.  Previous work experience with autistic or other neurodivergent individuals is required. Wage: $35.00 per hour + $1,000 health benefit per fiscal year.
This is a .5 FTE (18.75 hours per week) position, with a start date of December 2025 or January 2026.  Occasional and weekend hours will be required.
