Our client is looking for an enthusiastic Office/Clinic Assistant.
The successful candidate will be able to work with a wide variety of people in a fast-paced environment with tact and diplomacy. The ability to work with frequent interruptions while staying on task, and the ability to maintain patient confidentiality is crucial.
The position requires: scheduling appointments, answering phones, updating information on computer databases, processing faxes, documents, and payments, basic bookkeeping, managing inventory and other general administrative tasks. Other duties related to assisting medical staff and cleaning/maintenance are required.
Qualifications include:
Grade 12 education. Customer service experience (retail, hospitality, restaurant) a strong asset.
Further education (office administration, hospitality or other) an asset.
Fluent in English. Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Intermediate skills in database applications, Excel and Microsoft Word, and ability to learn computer software quickly. Intermediate typing skills.
A car and valid Yukon driver's licence is a strong asset.
Reliable and punctual, excellent client service skills, able to multi-task in a busy environment.

25 to 30 hours per week. Combination of early mornings or afternoon/evening hours. The facility is open between 7 am - 7:30 pm, Monday to Friday.  Occasional weekend work may be required. An additional 2-5 hours of work per week may be available periodically, depending on operational requirements.
