First Cook Lead

We take pride in being one of the few airlines that still offers a complimentary meal service to our passengers. Our commitment to quality is reflected in our extensive catering operations, as we are pleased to provide meal services on a majority of our flights. This includes routes to Northern communities, Southern routes that include, Vancouver, Kelowna, Victoria, Calgary and Edmonton and seasonally scheduled flights to Ontario.
Our dedicated kitchen brigade is comprised of talented chefs, first cooks, and catering staff, that work collaboratively together to deliver a meal service to our passengers that is consist and reflects our commitment to quality. In addition to our regular inflight service, we also cater for special events, showcasing our culinary talents even further.
Additionally, our flight kitchen sells a selection of meals and our signature cheesecakes, inspired by the recipes we serve on our flights to Ontario. These delicious offerings are available in select grocery stores, giving customers the chance to enjoy our cuisine at home.
Lastly, In June 2024, our flight kitchen branched out even further by opening a restaurant at our local airport named the Black Wolf Bistro. This new venture has provided us a platform for connecting with the local community, fostering relationships with customers, suppliers, and the traveling public.
Role Summary:
The incumbent ensures catering standardization and that all food preparation meets or exceeds established requirements. The First Cook Lead oversees preparation and cooking of products and ensures adherence to quality standards and presentation.
