Position Status: Part Time, Seasonal, Hourly. November 15th, 2025 to Dec 8th, 2025 (Approx.- subject to operational requirements )
Job Summary:
The safe operation of all snow machines on Mt. Sima for the purpose of athlete transportation and operational transportation requirements.
Duties:
- Safely operate all snow machines at Mt. Sima for public and staff transport.
- Be proficient with daily safe operation of Mt. Sima snow machines.
- Responsible for completing all daily walk-around snow machines.
- Reporting to guest services for daily assignments.
- Inform maintenance of any issues with snow machines
Requirements:
- Must be able to operate snow machines in steep and difficult terrain.
- Able to work well in a team environment.
- Driver’s license required.
- Cell phone on person at all times.
Other Duties (include but not limited to):
- Shoveling the sidewalk and stairways around the lodge.
- Clearing outside garbage at the end of the day.
- Moving ski racks for grooming.
- Keeping wood boxes full in all the lodges and warm-up shacks.
- On weekends will be asked to help Patrol Terrain Park.
- Also will need to help set up a parking lot in the morning and break down in the afternoon when snow is expected.
- Help salt or sand problem areas.
- Help with set up and maintenance of safety fencing where required.
