Mobile Maintenance Services is seeking a highly organized and results-driven Project Manager to join our team in Whitehorse, YT.
The Project Manager will lead and oversee the successful execution of various projects from initiation through completion. The ideal candidate will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and managing project timelines, resources, and budgets while ensuring deliverables meet quality standards and stakeholder expectations. The project Manager will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure clear communication, track progress, and resolve issues in a timely manner. Strong leadership, problem-solving, and multitasking skills are essential to ensure projects are completed on time, within scope, and on budget.
Wage is negotiable depending on experience and qualifications. Preference given to local hires.
Key Responsibilities:
• Project Planning & Execution – Develop and Define project plans, set timelines, allocate resources, and Define project goals, timelines, and resource requirements.
• Execution & Monitoring: Oversee daily operations, ensuring efficient resource use and project progression. Track project status, and report to management regularly.
• Team Leadership & Coordination – Lead project teams, assign tasks, facilitate regular team meetings and foster collaboration among stakeholders.
• Risk Management – Identify potential risks, develop mitigation strategies, and address challenges proactively.
• Quality & Compliance – Ensure project deliverables meet quality standards and comply with industry regulations.
• Budget & Resource Management: Monitor and adjust project budgets, ensuring efficient resource allocation.
• Documentation & Reporting: Maintain project documentation and ensure timely progress reporting.
• Quality Control & Compliance: Ensure deliverables meet quality standards and comply with safety regulations.
• Risk Management & Problem-Solving: Identify risks and implement solutions to maintain project timelines and budgets.
• Problem-Solving & Decision-Making – Address issues, make informed decisions, and adapt to changing project needs.
Qualifications:
• Certificate in Project Management, Business Administration or related field
• 3-5 years’ experience in project management, preferably in the steel or construction industry
• Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills
• Ability to work in a leadership role, ensuring safe work practices and meeting deadlines
