Task DescriptionHelp support Yukon students by reviewing scholarship applications online. You’ll attend a short training session, use a scoring guide to evaluate applications, and submit your recommendations by the deadline. All evaluators must follow confidentiality and conflict of interest guidelines.

Skills NeededWe’re seeking individuals from a variety of industries and backgrounds to assist in evaluating scholarship applications. Ideal volunteers are detail-oriented, possess strong reading comprehension skills, and are comfortable using computers and navigating online systems.
Responsibilities– Attend a 1-hour virtual training session on Thursday, May 29th at 6:30pm(YST) to learn how to navigate the online application portal.
– Review and score scholarship applications using a provided evaluation scale.
– Submit your recommendations via an online form provided.
– All evaluators must sign a Confidentiality Agreement and Conflict of Interest Policy.
– Volunteers cannot evaluate applications submitted by themselves or individuals they know personally.
Time CommitmentApproximately 2–10 hours, depending on availability and number of applications assigned*.
Evaluations begin the first week of June, with all recommendations due by June 20th.
*The number of applications assigned will vary based on total submissions and your availability.
