Position Overview:
As the Senior Project Manager, you will be responsible for managing all project requirements, ensuring the successful execution of a significant residential retrofit initiative. This is a two-year term position with the possibility of extension, offering a unique opportunity to contribute to a high-impact project and grow with an innovative company.
Responsibilities:
- Manage and administer change orders and change directives.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for contractors, ensuring clear communication and effective collaboration.
- Liaise with clients, addressing their needs and concerns while maintaining strong working relationships.
- Apply expertise in architecture, project management, construction management, and/or contract management to oversee all project phases.
- Ensure projects are completed efficiently, on time, and within budget.
- Coordinate with various stakeholders, including government branches and community organizations.
- Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and resource plans.
- Identify and mitigate project risks.
- Administer contracts with suppliers and subcontractors.
Qualifications:
- A bachelor's degree in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role, with a focus on managing complex construction or retrofit projects.
- Proven ability to manage change orders, change directives, and contracts.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficient computer skills.
- A passion for energy conservation and reducing carbon emissions.
Assets:
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.
- Experience with residential retrofit projects.
- Familiarity with local Yukon construction practices and regulations.

- A competitive salary range of $80,000 - $120,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
