Finance Manager
Full-time, permanent position
- 37.5 hours weekly
- Salary range is $53.35 – 64.91 per hour, depending on qualifications and experience

Excellent opportunity to join the management team of the Child Development Centre. The Child Development Centre (CDC) is a family-centered organization providing early intervention services across Yukon. We honor cultural and family diversity and are committed to equity and cultural safety.
We are seeking an experienced Finance Manager to oversee the financial operations and compliance for the Centre. Key responsibilities include:
- Lead accounting, budgeting, payroll (Ceridian), and financial reporting.
- Prepare and manage annual budgets, payroll and support financial reviews.
- Process accounts receivable/payable and manage bank reconciliations.
- Ensure compliance with CRA, Societies Act, GST regulations, and WCB requirements.
- Advise the Board of Directors and attend Board meetings as required.
Qualifications:
- Education and/or extensive experience in financial management.
- 5+ years of financial management experience.
- Proficient with Excel, experience with accounting and payroll programs.
- Strong communication, organizational, and decision-making skills.
- Knowledge of Yukon legislation and cultural competency practices.
