Advance the decolonization of Indigenous communities through creating and sustaining a vibrant and reciprocal traditional Arts Community that is rooted in Indigenous traditional teachings and language, supports the healing and wellness of participants and community, and has international partnerships. To create an internationally recognized learning community that is dedicated to providing opportunities for Indigenous cultural reclamation, reconnection and land based learning, while developing traditional arts in a versatile learning environment. Our focus will be on providing an environment that promotes healing through the arts for all skill level and ages. This creative environment will feature applied learning, design excellence, integrated and comprehensive arts and traditional knowledge education. We will provide opportunities for both emerging and established artists to engage in lifelong learning, healing and transitions as they master their skills, work with new mediums and develop their network and business vision. Those who s support from NCES will in turn hold each other up by sharing and teaching their skills, and engaging in opportunities for continuous growth and consistent innovation.
