Massage Therapist

Job Overview We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Massage Therapist to join our wellness team. Duties

• Perform various massage techniques including deep tissue massage and trigger point therapy to address client-specific pain and tension issues
• Conduct thorough patient assessments to determine appropriate treatment plans
• Educate clients on pain management strategies and post-treatment care
• Maintain detailed records of treatments provided and client progress
• Ensure a clean, safe, and relaxing environment for clients at all times
• Stay updated on the latest techniques in massage therapy and wellness practices
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals when necessary to optimize patient outcomes
• Adhere to all health and safety regulations related to occupational health and medical spa standards

Qualifications

• Valid state licensure or certification as a Massage Therapist
• Proven experience in patient service, customer service, and occupational health settings
• Expertise in deep tissue massage, trigger point therapy, and pain management techniques
• Strong knowledge of physiology, anatomy, and medical terminology relevant to massage therapy
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to assess patient needs effectively
• Prior experience working in a med spa or similar environment is preferred
