Job Overview: Are you looking to make a meaningful impact in a vibrant and close-knit community? NVD is hiring a Grocery Store Clerk for our Carmacks location. This role is essential to ensuring our store remains clean, organized, and welcoming for all customers. You will play a critical part in supporting inventory management, setting up displays, and delivering top-tier customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Store Maintenance & Cleanliness: Maintain the overall cleanliness and organization of the store, including tidying aisles, cleaning up spills promptly, and ensuring that products are displayed neatly and correctly.
- Inventory Management: Assist with receiving deliveries, stocking shelves, and performing regular inventory counts to ensure that our stock levels are accurate and products are readily available for customers.

Customer Service:
Provide exceptional customer service by assisting customers with inquiries, helping them locate products, and offering recommendations as needed. - Display Setup: Assist with setting up promotional displays, seasonal activities, and special events within the store to enhance the shopping experience.
- Adherence to Policies: Follow all store policies and procedures, including those related to health, safety, and security, to maintain a safe shopping environment for customers and staff.
- Opening & Closing: Participate in opening and closing procedures, ensuring the store is ready for operation at the start of the day and secure at the end of the day.
Experience & Qualifications:
- Experience: A minimum of 1 year of experience working in a grocery store or similar retail environment is required.
- Education: A secondary school graduation certificate is required.
- Communication Skills: Ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.
- Punctuality & Reliability: Must be able to consistently show up on time for all scheduled shifts and demonstrate reliability.

Physical Demands:
Ability to frequently lift up to 30 lbs and perform tasks that require standing, bending, and reaching throughout the shift. -
