Employer: Kluane Drilling Ltd.
Position: General laborer (Shop's yard)
Locations of Work: Whitehorse, Yukon Territory
Wage: $22.00 to $26.00 per hour, final rate wage based on experience.
Start Date: As soon as possible
Vacancies: 1
Terms of Employment: Seasonal, full-time, 40 hours per week
Preferred Experience & Certifications (Assets):
- Telehandler, Bobcat, Loader or any related equipment experience
- Valid First Aid and CPR certification.
- A valid driver's license (at least 3 years of experience driving) with a clean driving record.
Job duties and responsibilities include:
- Picking items and organization of shipments/pickups.
- Assisting welders, maintenance technicians and other coworkers with their tasks when required.
- General warehouse/yard organization, including storage in racks and containers.
- Inspecting the condition of company equipment and vehicles. Reporting issues if needed.
- Checking and repairing small tools.
- Operate company equipment and vehicles in accordance with internal policies.
- Other duties as assigned
Education: No requirement
Skills: communication, attention to detail, adaptable and flexible to focus as tasks change, ability to complete physically demanding tasks, work independently.
