Looking for a full-time Food Preparer. Must be able to assist in the kitchen with preparing, heating and cooking simple food items, follow direction while being a team player, have good attention to detail, physically fit, good hygiene and a strong work ethic.
The main duties include:
* Clean, peel, slice and trim foodstuffs using manual and electric appliances.
* Use deep fryer, grill, oven, dispensers and other equipment to prepare fast food items such as sandwiches, hamburgers, fries and salads.
*Portion, assemble, and wrap food or place it directly on plates for service to patrons, and package take-out food.
This position is located in Haines Junction, Yukon, 150km outside of Whitehorse. We are a fun little pub with great atmosphere, good food and beautiful views. Accommodation available at $500 per month. Staff meals provided on days of work.
