Job Summary: Reporting to the Manager of Youth & Transitional Supports, the Youth & Transitional Case Worker will be responsible for providing culturally appropriate and holistic services and supports for youth and young adults from the age of nineteen to twenty-six. The incumbent will act as a resource person, navigator, advocate and support person to equip youth to be successful in aging out of care and gain the life skills needed to transition into adulthood.
Screening Criteria: Post-secondary education in social work, social sciences or relevant field and/or equivalency obtained through coursework and/or experience.
A minimum of two years’ experience working in a social service agency, with responsibilities related to youth support work. Experience working in a First Nations organization, preferably Yukon First Nations.
Salary: Level 9: $85,663.50 - $107,113.50
