Job Title: Equipment Delivery Driver

MacPherson Rentals and Bobcat of Whitehorse are currently seeking a dedicated Equipment Delivery Driver to join our dynamic team in Whitehorse, Yukon. The position is 8AM-5PM Monday to Friday, keeping you around family in friends while experiencing the breath taking beauty of the Yukon!
Responsibilities:
- Safely transport and deliver a variety of heavy equipment to job sites and customer locations.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure the proper functioning and safety of the equipment.
- Provide exceptional customer service by interacting professionally with clients during equipment deliveries.
- Adhere to all traffic laws, regulations, and company policies to ensure the safe and efficient operation of the delivery vehicle.
- Collaborate with the logistics team to coordinate delivery schedules and optimize route efficiency.
- Maintain accurate delivery records and documentation.
Qualifications:
- Valid Class 5 with Trailer Endorsement or higher driver's license with a clean driving record. (Class 1 or class 3 drivers)
- Strong English and communication skills
- Previous experience in the operation and delivery of heavy equipment.
- Ability to perform routine maintenance checks on delivery vehicles.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Physical fitness and the ability to lift and move heavy equipment as needed.
- Familiarity with local traffic laws and regulations.
Additional Consideration:
- Class 1 and Class 3 drivers will be reviewed with priority.
