KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Assist with surface water sampling, groundwater monitoring, and flow
measurement programs.
• Follow established protocols to ensure sample integrity and accurate data collection.
• Prepare concise field reports and communicate findings to the Project Manager.
• Ensure compliance with safety protocols, including scheduled check-ins and
hazard assessments.
• Carry equipment (up to 50 lbs) over rough terrain in challenging conditions (e.g. cold,
wet, buggy, or densely vegetated environments).
• Work collaboratively with field teams and independently as needed.
• Represent the company professionally when interacting with clients and the public.
• Support safe and environmentally responsible field practices.
• Foster and maintain positive client relationships built on trust and technical excellence.
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
• 1-2 years of relevant environmental field experience or training preferred. *Is an asset*
• Strong organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Comfortable working in a range of weather and terrain conditions.
• Valid driver's license and a clean driving record are required.
• Valid first aid certification (or willingness to obtain).
• Snowmobile and ATV safety certification (or willingness to obtain).
• Ability to use handheld GPS units (or willingness to learn).
• Self-motivated, dependable, and safety-focused.
