The Job:
We are currently hiring for a full-time position for the following:
- A Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) in Electrical Engineering.
Role Scope:
- Working alongside company leadership, your job will be to perform complete electrical engineering services for your projects. This includes providing project management, and mentoring staff that are working with you.
- Perform assessments, design services, and construction supervision of projects.
- There will be some administrative tasks required, which may include things like helping to establish standards, participating in training or business development activities.
- There will be periodic travel to job sites. These are generally in-town, or out of town overnight trips. Ideal applicants must be fit and capable of working on/around construction sites. Applicants who cannot meet these physical requirements are still encouraged to apply.

Your Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering.
- Professional Engineer registrant, with a Canadian Engineering Association. Eligible for registration in Yukon, BC, Northwest Territories/Nunavut.
- 5+ years experience as a professional engineer, working in a design and construction administration capacity.
- Drivers license.
Your Skills:
- Able to triage projects, manage deadlines and deliverables.
- Able to write professional reports.
- Able to write proposals, define scope and fee for projects.
- Knowledge and application of standards:
- Canadian Electrical Code.
- National/BC Building Codes.
- ULC Standards.
- National Fire Code.
- Knowledge of the following software:
- AutoCAD.
- AGI32 or equivalent.
- MS Office Suite.
- Bluebeam.
- Cloud based software for accounting, project management, proposals and CRM.
Experience with REVIT, ETAP or EASYPOWER would be considered an asset.
