We're a company specialized in log buildings, located north of Whitehorse. Our team is small and mostly permanent, we are looking to add a new member to the team, seasonal but could turn permanent for the right person.
You are at ease on roof and proficient with a chainsaw, we will provide training for the log work. The tasks involves handling big logs so a good physical condition is important.
Experience in logging, milling, mechanic, and/or tool and machinery maintenance will be a big advantage on that position.
Most of the work happens around the workshop, transportation is provided for other works.
The work week is usually 4 consecutive days of 10 hours (averaged weekly), monday to thursday. Some jobs will require a fifth day and overtime, especially during summer.
