Yukon Literacy Coalition is hiring Camp Counsellors for our Physical Literacy and You (P.L.A.Y) day camp. We are looking for a positive, outgoing and energetic staff to join our team on a term position from June 18, 2025 - Aug 15, 2025. The P.L.A.Y Counsellors will work as a part of the P.L.A.Y summer day camp staff team. They will facilitate day to day programming, supervise campers and ensure their safety and well-being.
P.L.A.Y Camp is a dynamic camp tailored to children. The acronym "P.L.A.Y" represents "Physical Literacy and You," embodying our commitment to fostering holistic development through engaging activities. At P.L.A.Y Camp, children explore a diverse range of physical pursuits, from sports and games to outdoor adventures, all designed to enhance their physical skills, confidence, and overall well-being.
The Camp Counsellor must have:
- Experience working with children,
- Be at least 16 years old
- Have a Clear Criminal Record Check with Vulnerable Sector.
- First Aid (CPR-C) or willingness to obtain
