Halal Butcher /meat cutter NOC 63201
Welcome to Yukon Halal, in partnership with The Farm Gate, Yukon’s first halal meat producers. As an owner-operated business, we invest our time and energy into our farm, engage with our team members, and love to connect with our customers. Yukon Halal is a sheep farm, has an abattoir facility and is expanding to provide butchering services.
We are looking to hire and train an enthusiastic and knowledgeable team member for halal slaughter to curate the highest quality meat products.
As lead halal butcher, you will be responsible for:
Responsibilities:
- Slaughtering livestock
- Ensure all ordering and tasks are completed successfully
- Cut, trim, and prepare standard cuts of meat and minimize waste
- Ensure all customers are satisfied with their product and your customer service
- Support yourself and your team to grow to their fullest potential within our company!

Job Type: Full-time
Salary: $20.50 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
