Tasks

• Operate cash register
• Greet customers and provide friendly and professional customer service in the store
• Help customers to find the type, quality and quantity of products sought for purchase
• Advise customers on use and details of products, and provide advice Practice effective selling techniques to increase sales volume
• Prepare products for purchase and pack products
• Carry out sales transactions, and accept cash, credit card or other payments
• Assist in display of merchandise
• Maintain sales records for inventory control
• Operate computerized inventory record keeping and re-ordering systems
• Make snacks, coffee, baked food and serve food and drinks to customers
• Prepare and serve specialty coffee, tea and other beverages such as cappuccino, latte, mocha etc.
• May carry out other duties as delegated by manager
