Job Description:
- Conduct diagnostic procedures to identify causes of automotive, light truck, equipment and small engine issues and make effective and accurate repair recommendations.
- Perform necessary repairs to vehicles, equipment and small engines
- Complete scheduled vehicle maintenance ensuring compliance with maintenance procedures and instructions.
- Record all work done on vehicles following document control procedures for area.
- Perform all work to a high standard of craftmanship
- Ensure vehicles, equipment and small engines meet requirements for safety, reliability and emissions compliance.
- Maintain shop equipment and work environment in a good and clean condition
- Drive assigned vehicles when required, complying with the Company policies and procedures and current regulations.
Skills & Experience Required:
- Journeyperson with valid red seal license. 4th year apprentice with good grades may be considered at a reduced hourly rate
- Organized, good written and oral communication skills. Able to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
- Must possess a valid driver’s license minimum class 5 with a clean driver’s abstract.
- Work at Whitehorse shop and occasional field work, willingness to work in adverse weather conditions and travel to remote sites.
- PMVI license an asset
- Ability to pass pre-employment drug test.

Salary: $40 to $50 per hour depending on experience.
