Responsibilities
- Oversee daily office operations, ensuring efficiency and productivity.
- Manage payroll processes and maintain accurate employee records.
- Serve as the first point of contact for visitors and clients at the front desk.
- Answer phone calls professionally, utilizing effective phone etiquette to assist callers.
- Utilize QuickBooks or Sage for financial record keeping and invoicing as needed.
- Maintain office supplies inventory and place orders as necessary.
- Assist with human resources tasks, including onboarding new employees and maintaining personnel files.
- Implement office policies and procedures to enhance workflow efficiency.
- Organize meetings, prepare agendas, and take minutes as needed.
Skills
- Proficient in office management software and phone systems.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with an emphasis on effective interpersonal interactions.
- Experience in payroll processing and human resources is highly desirable.
- Proficient in data entry with a strong attention to detail.
- Familiarity with QuickBooks or Sage is preferred but not mandatory.
- Ability to supervise a team effectively while fostering a collaborative work environment.
- Excellent organizational skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously while maintaining professionalism under pressure.
