Service Technician **This is not a Security Guard position**

Job Description/Duties:
•Installation, programing and servicing of security systems, CCTV, access control, home theatre, telephone and related equipment, following blueprints of electrical layouts and building plans.
•Mount and fasten control panels, door and window contacts, motion sensors, low temperature sensors, water sensor and other various intrusion devices.
•Examine and inspect systems to locate problems, such as loose connections or broken devices.
•Test backup batteries, keypad programming, sirens, or other security features to ensure proper functioning or to diagnose malfunctions.
•Drill holes for wiring in wall studs, joists, ceilings, or floors.
•Feed cables through access holes, roof spaces, or cavity walls to reach fixture outlets, positioning and terminating cables, wires, or strapping.
•Inspect installation sites and study work orders, building plans, and installation manuals to determine materials requirements and installation procedures.
•Mount wall track and conduits and fasten wires to wood framing, using staplers.

•Demonstrate systems for customers / provide user training.
•Communicate with people outside the organization, representing the organization to customers, the public, government, and other external sources.
•Value a high degree of cleanliness throughout all workspaces.
•Demonstrate the ability to work independently and be self-motivated.
•Must be able to take direction from Supervisors.
•Ability to work at heights, on ladders and scissor lifts.
•Must be bondable
