Administrative Assistant

Job Description/Duties:

  • Assists with management on various tasks including arrange meetings, book site visiting schedules and work shift
  • Skillful with office software, and has basic booking skills
  • Good people skills and be able to work with coworkers and contractors and labourers
  • Maintains office supplies and technical equipment and systems, including phones and the internet
  • Ensures effective implementation of all company and client policies and procedures
  • May be required to assist in the preparation of progress and summary reports
  • May need to work overtime on occasion and handle stressful timelines or situations
  • Performs other responsibilities associated with this position as may be appropriate

Requirements/Qualifications:

  • Administration or related experience is needed, preferably within the construction industry, property management, project management, or transferable experience from related industries
  • Diploma or degree in business, office administration, or project management would be an asset
  • Strong computer skills including, but not limited to office software
  • Must be self-motivated, able to take initiative and work independently with little to no supervision at times while maintaining clear and timely communication with the management and teams
  • Must be a Canadian citizen or eligible to obtain legal authorization to work in Canada
  • Another language will be an asset
